SMC helps Blueprint Interiors get shortlisted for East Midlands Business Masters Award

East Midlands Business Masters 2019

Simple Marketing Consultancy is delighted to announce that our client, Blueprint Interiors has been shortlisted as a finalist for the Innovation award at the East Midlands Business Masters 2019.

As part of our role to act as the outsourced marketing manager, we were tasked with writing the copy for the awards entry.

Our starting point when writing awards entries is always to read the entry pack and ensure that what we write, meets and exceeds the judging criteria.

East Midlands Business Masters 2019 logoIn our awards entry, all centred around innovation, we focussed heavily on the transformation Blueprints, office headquarters, WorkLife Central, to which now acts as a prime example of the type of innovative office design projects they create for their clients.

Blueprint’s aims have always been to create inspiring, innovative office design and fit out solutions, with a real focus on well-being and allowing people to work at their best, so there is a tangible commercial return for the employer. As such our awards entry had to be written in a way that truly reflected Blueprints dedication to innovation.

Having been shortlisted alongside other East Midlands businesses, Blueprint will now wait for the winners to be announced at the black-tie awards dinner on 4th April 2019 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Nottingham.

Commenting, SMC Director, Elliot Cook said “Simple Marketing Consultancy has written many successful awards entries, which is a testament to our copywriting abilities. We are delighted that the awards entry we have written has enabled Blueprint to be shortlisted for this prestigious award.”

For whatever reason, a lot of businesses are put off from entering an award, but in our opinion,  there are many benefits that outweigh the potential time it may take to write an entry. Our positives include the following;

  1. Improved profile – Some may not know of your existence, so entering an award may alert potential customers to your service or product offering.
  2. Process improves business operations – The awards process will have helped you identify where you have weaknesses such that improvements can be made to give you a better chance of winning in the years to follow.
  3. Staff Morale – Being shortlisted for an award, is great way to communicate with your employees that their hard, hasn’t gone unnoticed.
  4. Corporate Credibility – Receiving recognition for winning an award, drives home that your business is a leader in its field.

If there is a business or trade award you would like to win, and you’d like help collating the evidence and writing your award in a way that makes it succinct and easy for judges to evaluate, please get in touch.
