The Role & You
Working within a world class sales team and reporting into the Head of External Sales you will be proactively growing sales through a portfolio of existing customers and targeted new business opportunities. You will develop new products for customers and also maximise sales of our existing product portfolio. Key is understanding customer requirements and the delivery of complex customer projects on time. With a proven track record in sales and account management, you will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate customer requirements to a clear written brief. You will have to be a self-starter who enjoys getting results, PC literate, a team player, and professional at all times. Experience within FMCG, New Product Development, the Point of Sale or Print Industries would prove an advantage. You will liase with both our product and graphic design teams to ensure delivery of all development projects on time in full. You will also act as a co-ordination and handover point between your customer and the production team to ensure that the business meets and exceeds your customer expectations.
You Must Have
The experience we are looking for is most likely to be found in someone of graduate calibre who has 5-10 years experience in Sales or Account Management. You must have an eye for detail, a head for multi-tasking and delivering to deadlines whilst keeping commitments. Outstanding team working, planning and project management skills are essential. A great communicator, you will be highly literate and numerate with proven analytical skills and a commercial approach. Experience of working in a very fast moving environment ideally within the FMCG/Multiple Retail sector with exposure to customised or customer led manufacturing –experience of retail, print, marketing, design or merchandising would be a distinct advantage. Experience of working successfully in a role that has involved managing complex projects alongside design, manufacturing and planning teams would be helpful. Where? Based in Nottingham at our factory you will also travel extensively and frequently to the customers to work successfully with some of the World’s largest blue chip household names.
