The Wynbrook Group of companies, which includes Wynbrook Homes and Wynbrook Design and Build has moved to new 1500ft2 purpose built offices at Grantham Road, Radcliffe-on-Trent.
This award winning local construction company, which specialises in building care homes and residential properties, has decided to move in order to accommodate the additional staff it has recruited following a run of successful contracts across Nottingham and Leicester valued at over £7.4m. The company now employs ten full time staff and a team of 45 contractors who work on site.
Founded 28 years ago, the company and is now run by brothers Mike and Steve Day. Initially focused on buying land to build residential homes, the dip in the housing market led to a strategic review and the company is now prospering on the back of the demand for new care home developments and an increase in commercial and residential build projects.
Their most recent project include working on the former Man of Trent site at Clifton to build new KFC and McDonalds outlets; Gedling Care Village, a £2.1m development of a new 54 bed care home with 13 assisted apartments; Awsworth Road which is a £2.2m three storey, 66 bed riverside development in Ilkeston; and John Street in Hinckley, a £3.1m development of a 72 bedroom care home with full en-suite facilities that will complete in June 2104. They are also at the design stage for another 75 bedroom care home on the former Grey Mare site in Clifton.

The design fits in with the existing buildings at this mixed use complex which includes two further office units that Wynbrook currently let to Blue Bird Care Ltd and Radcliffe Chiropractic Clinic Ltd. and six 1 and 2 bed apartments which are currently fully let to professional tenants.
Located on the A52, the new offices provide direct access to central Nottingham, along with easy access to the new dual A46 with Newark and Leicester being less than 30 minutes travelling time.
